Congratulations to Charlotte Craddock who has been selected to play for

the Great Britain Squad in the forthcoming Beijing Olympics.

At just 17 years of age, Charlotte is one of the youngest players ever to play for Team GB and also the only one still in full time education (Repton School).

It had been thought that Charlottes dream of playing in Beijing was over after she was forced home from the GB Tour of Australia to undergo surgery on her back.

“I’m still in shock, especially with the setback in February with my back but I owe a lot to all the English Institute of Sport staff at Bisham Abbey who have helped me with my rehab and I’m very excited to be involved,�she said.

Britain play their opening group match against Germany in Beijing on August 10th.
