Kookaburra

On a flying visit to the UK (following the England Tour of the West Indies where he was part of the England Squad which snatched victory in the One Day Series), Owais Shah called into the Kookaburra Offices to put the finishing touches to his kit in preparation for the forthcoming Indian Premier League, where he will represent Delhi Daredevils.

As a perfectionist and as part of the meticulous attention to detail that he has in respect of making sure that he has the right equipment in his bag - Owais spent time looking at how the shape of the bat he uses could best take his performances in One Day Cricket to the next level. Â He has decided that he will be using a much heavier blade in the One Day format of the game from now on. Â He was impressed by the aggressive shape and styling of the Kookaburra Beast and has decided that this will be his choice for the future.

Owais feels that the powerful profile the Beast offers is ideal for how he plays the game on the One Day Stage and, although he will continue to use his treasured Kookaburra Blade model in the longer format of the game, has decided that he will ‘Unleash The Beast’ during the much anticipated IPL.
